Joanna Burns

My name is Joanna and I have been teaching piano and vocals for 7 years. I have a BA Honours Degree in music. I teach children of all ages and abilities, exam preparation, music theory or just for fun.Through sight-reading, scales and technique I explain and demonstrate the main fundamentals of music, while adapting my teaching style to best fit the needs of each student. I love to do songs that the student enjoys to help motivate and encourage them in a fun learning environment. I love to share my passion for music through teaching and I think it's important that the student enjoys the material that they are working on. I take beginners to intermediate standard for lessons. I finished all of my piano grades and I teach piano grades from Elementary to grade 8.
